Our History
Chartered in 1905, First State Bank is the oldest state bank in Texas. Our first location was in Gainesville, Texas and, even though we no longer occupy the original site, we still have two Gainesville locations and 10 additional locations spanning from Decatur and Roanoke to Denton and Lake Kiowa. Combining the friendly customer service of hometown banking with innovation and technology, we bring you a legacy of banking experience.
