Security and convenience are top priorities when making in-store purchases, which is why First State Bank issues our customers EMV Debit Cards - also known as chip cards or smart cards - with all checking accounts. First State Bank debit cards are designed with extra security measures should they be lost or stolen, or if you need to cancel. Misplaced your debit card? Use CARD LOCK to:

  • Temporarily prevent new charges by turning card OFF (Lock)
  • Turn Locked card back ON any time
  • Report Card as Lost or Stolen to permanently cancel (contact bank to request new card)

Card Lock can be accessed from the FSB Mobile app menu, or from Online Banking under the SERVICES tab. (Non-Cash Management accounts only)

You can also call 940-665-1711 or 833-372-2265 (833-FSB-BANK) and you will be directed for assistance in cancelling your card. You will be prompted for information to verify your identity, which may include the following:

  • CARD NUMBER
  • CARDHOLDER TAX ID NUMBER
  • FSB CHECKING ACCOUNT NUMBER
  • FSB ABA ROUTING NUMBER - 111901467

Activating a New Card

To activate a new or replacement card, call 800-631-3197 (International 206-682-2462). When you call, please have your debit card and your Social Security Number (personal cards) or the Federal Tax ID (business cards/not Sole Proprietor) available in order to verify your identity.

Selecting or Updating a Card PIN

To select a PIN for a new card or to change your PIN on an existing card, call 800-631-3197 (International 206-682-2462). When you call, please have your debit card and your Social Security Number (personal cards) or the Federal Tax ID (business cards/not Sole Proprietor) available in order to verify your identity.
